ProxyNestA FoxyProxy alternative for Chrome with bulk import and IP checks
FoxyProxy is a long-standing proxy manager for Firefox and Chrome with proxies and URL patterns. It is a solid tool. People look for alternatives in Chrome mainly for three reasons: they manage many proxies from sellers, they want to know where each proxy exits before using it, and they want leak checks built in.
Where ProxyNest differs
- Paste a whole list in mixed seller formats; duplicates and bad lines are reported.
- Bulk health check: speed, exit IP, country, city, ISP and time zone for every proxy, without switching your browsing.
- Leak test: real IP vs proxied IP vs WebRTC, plus a warning when your browser’s time zone or language contradicts the proxy country.
- Rotation through a group every N minutes or on a shortcut.
- Clear SOCKS5 handling: Chrome can’t authenticate SOCKS5; ProxyNest tells you and suggests the fix.
What’s the same
Both set Chrome’s proxy for the whole profile (no per-tab proxies — Chrome doesn’t allow it), both support site patterns, and both keep your data in the browser.
Try it in Chrome
ProxyNest pastes any proxy list, logs in automatically and checks every proxy’s IP, location and speed — free for up to 3 proxies.
